Nathaniel Buzolic as Kol Mikaelson
It was a very devastating moment when The Vampire Diaries showrunners decided to kill off Kol Mikaelson as one of the Original Vampires back in season 4 of the show. The baby face vamp is definitely one of fan favourite. His character stood on grey area. He could help Elena and co, or lent a helping hand to his siblings (even he hated Klaus more than anyone) ,or turned his back to everyone, which make his character much more unique and mysterious.
When the Originals has given their own spin-off series and sent Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah to New Orleans, there is a green light for Kol Mikaelson to comeback in the show. The title of the show is The Originals, anyway. So, that would not make any sense not to bring back beloved Original Vampire like Kol. And YES! He appeared. On one episode and only in flashback scenes. Boo! And then, Ester decided to bring back Kol and Finn from the dead by giving their soul a new vessel. Yup! Daniel Sharman is now the new Kol (or.. you can say, Kaleb). Daniel did a great job as Kol in his new hot body, but, Nathaniel Buzolic and his sexy British accent is still the “original” Kol and will always be Kol.

So, when CW decided to give the “original” Kol another chance to shine even though not another spin-off but just web-series, it was kind of treat for all the fans (especially me!). Watching Kol on his own agenda to kill Klaus was just a pleasure. I hope The Originals will get Nathaniel back for the show. He can make appearance as Kol in flashback and we can still have Daniel as the present day Kol! That will not hurt. Two is better than one anyway!
